Dr. Bui has been practicing plastic and reconstructive surgery in Orange County since 1996. He is a 1989 graduate of the University of Arkansas for the Medical Sciences and completed both general surgery and plastic surgery training at the LAC-USC Medical Center. He has extensive training and experience in all cosmetic procedures involving the face, eyes, and body.

Dr. Bui is certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery as well as the American Board of Surgery. He is an active member of the Orange County Medical Society, the California Medical Association, The American Society of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, the Orange County Society of Plastic Surgeons, and other professional organizations. He is involved with teaching plastic surgery residents at the University of California Irvine. He also finds time in his busy schedule to volunteer for such community activities as skin cancer screening and detection at health fairs and senior citizen organizations.

Dr. Bui has a special interest in the area of facial rejuvenation, especially in the area around the eyes. He also has a special interest in body contouring surgery. He utilizes specialized techniques such as laser, endoscopic and ultrasonic surgery, when indicated, to achieve the optimal result with a minimal incision. His reconstructive surgical experience includes repair of congenital problems such as cleft lip and palate, reconstruction of traumatic deformities and injuries and repair of difficult, non-healing wounds.

Dr. Bui is happy to give each patient time and consideration in dealing with his or her particular problem, treating each patient with compassion and understanding. Because of his unhurried attitude and willingness to answer any and all questions, consultation is a rewarding and learning experience.

Although devoted to his career and patients, Dr. Bui is also a devoted family man and loves spending time with his wife LanChi, who is a pharmacist, and his young daughter Helena and son Lyndon. Dr. Bui’s other hobbies include swimming, biking, traveling, orchid cultivation, and performing magic.
